bio

i’m tasnim and i’m an engineer, designer, and an avid fan of mockumentary style tv shows. i graduated from uc berkeley in 2019 with a bachelor's in cognitive science and a minor in computer science.

my interests lie in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and data journalism. i’m also pretty passionate about diversity and inclusion in the tech industry.

in my free time, i like to design things, take pictures, write, catch up on current events, and mindlessly doodle on the nearest piece of paper (or napkin).

i worked @ docker as a software engineer in 2019. i then started working as a software engineer at a startup called fieldwire in 2021. currently, i do software engineering for meta!

in the past, i have helped out with some cool research on experimental and user security with the international computer science institute.

i also was a part of the tech and design committee for the muslim student association @ cal where i helped make a neat facebook messenger bot that alerted members about upcoming events and socials.

i think writing is cool so i’ve done some writing and web design for an on-campus magazine called "threads". contact me if you would like any writing or design samples!
